Over the last ten years of my career I’ve focused on becoming an “exceptional” esthetic dentist. First of all, in order to be exceptional at anything, I’ve realized that it’s not about the task at hand.  It’s actually a process of growing and living that fuels your passion and creative spirit that somehow gets funneled into your work. Esthetic or “cosmetic” dentistry has been around for a while, but since the beginning I’ve asked the question,

“How can I make it better? How can I create something that hasn’t been seen or experienced before?”

I realized it has so much more to do with just being a dentist, because let’s face it – there are a lot of ‘just dentists’ out there.  It’s about fueling your passion and creative spirit and funneling that into your work.  I want, and continue to bring, my life experiences and artistic awakenings into my work and office to create a new experience for my patients.

I created this blog to share with you a journey into my esthetic world – art, food, travel and the pursuit of beauty.

You see – teeth are so much more than what we use to chew.  They’re our personality, our character and along our path of life they age along with the rest of our body.  Our teeth really control the support of the lower third of our face. They are also the brightest, or dullest, feature on our face; most often they are first thing that people recognize when they first come into contact.  Knowing this has allowed me to really be able to “create” beautiful things tailored to my patients’ individual color, style and personality, giving them amazing new confidence.

In this blog, I’ll be sharing the stories behind my creations as well as some great tips on how to maintain the beauty of the mouth you were born with.  I also have some great products to share with you – and a how-to section on how to get the best results from over-the-counter products.

Lastly, I’d like to share my insight into the world of art, food, culture and travel that inspires me and hopefully will inspire my readers. I have always been of the mindset to live every day of my life, push myself into new and exciting experiences and most of all try to make a difference in the world.

I am an esthetic dentist and my job is to make people smile.
